Heads up — we're building the new media infra for AI builders

A short note from the team. Who we are, why we're building Edgebrix, and what's coming for the next generation of AI media apps and tasks.

Edgebrix — Media Infrastructure For AI Builders

Quick heads up: we've been quiet, and we've been building. This is the first signal.

Who we are

We're a small team with a specific shape. Veterans of large media companies who've shipped video, image, and content pipelines at scale. Media experts who've lived the format wars, the codec headaches, the CDN bills. Developers who've built the systems behind those pipelines. Designers who care how the surface feels when someone — or something — actually uses it.

We came together because we kept seeing the same gap from different sides.

Why we're building this

Our goal is simple: make it effortless to plug optimized, managed media into any AI app or workflow. One layer that handles the hard parts — storage, delivery, transformation, governance — so anything you build on top can just use media without thinking about it. Drop it in, and it works the same whether the caller is your code, your user, or your agent.

That's the layer that should already exist. So we're building it.

Edgebrix is the media infrastructure for the next generation of AI builders. A workspace, a delivery network, and a set of primitives that assume the consumer is an AI app or an agent — and that the human is along for the ride, not driving the mouse.

That's the whole bet. Everything we ship leans into it.

What to expect

We'll be posting often, and in public. Future posts will go deep on the parts that make this real — how delivery works without configuration, what a multiplayer media canvas feels like when an agent is one of the seats, why on-the-fly transformations should be a URL and not a deployment. None of that today. Today is just the heads up.

If you're building AI media apps, AI media tasks, or anything in that orbit — this is the right moment to put us on your radar.
